Ireland government contract data, inside your AI

Ask who is buying in Ireland, who has won before, and what they bid.

Irish public buying is concentrated in a relatively small number of organisations: government departments, the HSE, local authorities, semi-state bodies and the universities. Central frameworks carry a lot of the volume, which means eligibility often matters more than price. Suppliers regularly discover, late, that the work they were preparing for is being called off an arrangement they are not part of.

Procurement Context makes the notices and award records answerable from the AI assistant you already have open. Ask which Irish buyers have purchased in your category, which suppliers they awarded to, and what is live now, and the response comes from the source records rather than a summary. Everything runs through MCP, so nothing new lands on your team's desk.

The questions worth asking are the ones about position rather than paperwork. Whether a semi-state body runs its own procurement or buys centrally. Which suppliers keep appearing across health and local government work. Whether a requirement has been tendered before, and what changed in it since. Those shape whether you bid at all, which is a more expensive decision than how you write the response.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

Questions

Does it cover the HSE and local authorities as well as departments?
Yes. Government departments, the HSE, local authorities, semi-state bodies and universities are all public buyers and all in scope. Because coverage does not depend on any one platform, an Irish buyer that publishes publicly can be added. Tell us who you sell to and we will confirm what is covered.
Can I see who has won Irish public contracts before?
Award records are part of the same dataset as the open notices, covering the buying organisation and the winning supplier. That is what tells you whether an opportunity is genuinely contestable. For most teams it is the more useful half.
Can I look at Ireland and the UK in one place?
Yes. You ask in plain English inside your assistant, so a question can span both markets if that is how you sell. Suppliers operating across the two usually want the comparison rather than two separate lookups.
How does it connect to my AI assistant?
Through MCP, which is supported by Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and other clients. Once connected, your assistant answers procurement questions from the source records. There is no separate application to log into.
