Competitor win tracking, inside Microsoft Copilot

No new dashboard. Microsoft Copilot connects to the source data and answers there.

Competitive reviews tend to be scheduled things: a quarterly deck, a slide with four logos, numbers someone assembled by hand the week before. By the time it is presented it describes a market that has moved, and the assembling cost more than the insight returned.

Where Copilot has access to the award records, the review becomes something you can run on demand. Which suppliers have taken work from our target agencies this quarter. Has anyone new appeared in our category. Did the incumbent hold the renewal. Those questions get asked when they are relevant rather than when the calendar says so, and the answers come out of published notices rather than a manual trawl.

For organisations already inside the Microsoft stack there is a practical benefit beyond speed. What comes back can go directly into the capture plan or the pipeline review being written, because the assistant and the document are in the same place. Research that has to be exported from somewhere else usually stays where it was found.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

Questions

Can this feed a regular pipeline review?
Yes, and several teams use it exactly that way. The difference is that the underlying numbers are queried when the review happens rather than compiled a week earlier.
Does it identify which suppliers are new entrants?
You can ask which suppliers appear in a category over one period and not an earlier one, which is generally how a new entrant shows up in the record.
Is any of this data proprietary to you?
No. It is published procurement information, gathered and made queryable. We think that is a strength: nothing here depends on trusting an estimate we produced.
What does IT need to approve?
An MCP connector rather than an application deployment, which is usually a shorter conversation. We will walk through the specifics with your team.
