SAM.gov, without leaving your AI assistant

Open opportunities, past awards and who won them, answered in plain English.

SAM.gov is the system of record for US federal contract opportunities, and it is thorough rather than fast. Finding the notices that matter to you means running saved searches, opening each notice, then cross-referencing the award data separately to see who has held the work before. Most bid teams do this weekly, and most of them do it on Monday morning when the backlog is largest.

Procurement Context puts the same records behind your AI assistant. You ask what changed in your NAICS codes this week, or which agencies have bought a service before and from whom, and the answer comes back from the source notices and award records rather than from a summary someone wrote months ago. No dashboard to learn, no saved searches to maintain.

The questions worth asking are usually the ones that take too long to answer manually. Which incumbents keep winning at this agency. Whether a recompete is genuinely open or wired to the current holder. What a set-aside actually excludes. Those are judgement calls, and they get easier when the underlying record is one question away instead of twenty minutes of tab-switching.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

What is live right now

Open opportunities across every covered portal, filtered by the criteria your team actually qualifies on.

Questions

How is this different from a SAM.gov saved search?
A saved search tells you a notice exists. It does not tell you who has won similar work at that agency, what they charged, or whether the requirement has been recompeted three times already. Those answers live in the award records, which are a separate lookup. Here both sit behind the same question.
Does it cover contract awards as well as open opportunities?
Yes. Awarded contract records, the buying agency, the winning supplier and the value are all part of the dataset. For most teams the award history is the more useful half, because it is what tells you whether a bid is worth the effort.
Do I need to move my team to a new tool?
No. The only interface is MCP, so it connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or whatever assistant your team already has open. There is no separate application to log into and no seats to roll out.
Is SAM.gov the only US source covered?
No. State and local portals are covered alongside it, and coverage is portal-agnostic: if a procurement source is public we can stand it up quickly. Tell us where you sell and we will confirm what is already there.
