BC Bid, without leaving your AI assistant

Open opportunities, past awards and who won them, answered in plain English.

BC Bid carries opportunities from British Columbia ministries, health authorities, post-secondary institutions and broader public sector buyers. That mix is the difficulty. A ministry and a health authority buying the same category run different processes, different evaluation weightings and different renewal habits, and the notice does not tell you which kind of buyer you are dealing with or what they have done before.

Procurement Context answers that from your AI assistant. Ask which BC buyers have purchased your category, which suppliers were awarded, and how the same requirement has been let over successive cycles. The answer comes from the published opportunity and award records, so it reflects what actually happened. There is no separate application and nothing for your team to log into.

For a supplier deciding where to spend bid effort in British Columbia, that history is the point. Health authority work behaves nothing like a ministry framework. Knowing which buyer holds the budget, whether they return to market on a cycle, and whether an incumbent has held it twice already, settles the go or no-go before the proposal team starts writing. That decision costs nothing to make early and a great deal to make late.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

Questions

Does it cover BC health authorities and universities?
Coverage is portal-agnostic, so any publicly published procurement source can be stood up quickly, broader public sector buyers included. Tell us which BC buyers you sell to and we will confirm what is already covered.
Can I see past BC contract awards?
Yes, where the awarding organisation publishes them. Award records include the buyer, the winning supplier and the value. That is generally what tells you whether a category is genuinely open or effectively held.
Can I ask about BC and federal opportunities together?
Yes. It is one connection to your AI assistant, so you can ask about British Columbia specifically or compare a category across the jurisdictions you sell into. Many suppliers bid provincially and federally at once.
Is there a dashboard to learn?
No. The only interface is MCP, so it works inside Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or whatever assistant your team already has open. Access is arranged with our sales team rather than through a signup page.
