Facilities management contracts in Massachusetts

Current opportunities, past awards, and the suppliers already winning them.

Massachusetts buys facilities services through a mix of statewide arrangements and a very large number of local buyers. Cities and towns, regional school districts, housing and transit authorities and the public higher education campuses each maintain their own buildings and each let their own cleaning, grounds and mechanical maintenance work. Statewide contract vehicles cover some of it, which means part of your addressable market is only reachable if you are already on the right vehicle.

Procurement Context is a way of asking about all of that without opening anything up. The records live behind MCP, which means they answer inside the assistant your team already uses: which authorities have solicited building services, which suppliers keep winning them, how often a requirement has come back to market, and which buyers have never advertised the work at all. Plain questions, and answers drawn from the published notices and award records.

That vehicle question is worth taking seriously. If a category of local buyers routinely purchases through a statewide arrangement, then the contract you should be chasing is the arrangement itself, not the individual jobs. Reading the award pattern is how you tell the difference. It is also how you spot the buyers who consistently go to market independently and are therefore genuinely open to a new supplier.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

Questions

Does it include municipal and school district contracts?
They are, wherever those buyers put their solicitations and awards out publicly. Coverage is portal-agnostic rather than a fixed list of organisations, so public sources can be stood up quickly. Given how much of this category sits with towns and districts, that is worth checking for your specific area.
Can I see who is on a statewide contract vehicle?
You can see what has been published about awards under those arrangements, including the buying organisation and the supplier. How much detail is available depends on what the awarding body puts out. Tell us which vehicles matter to you and we will confirm what is visible.
How does it handle contracts that are renewed rather than rebid?
A renewal that is never advertised will not appear as a new solicitation, which is exactly why the award history matters. Seeing a long gap since the last competitive award is often the clearest sign that an account has been quietly rolling over. That is a useful thing to know before you plan a pursuit.
Do I need technical help to set it up?
Connecting an MCP server to an assistant is a configuration step, not a development project. We will walk you through it. There is no application to install and nothing to host.
