IT services contracts in Ontario

Current opportunities, past awards, and the suppliers already winning them.

Ontario is more than the provincial government. The ministries tender through the province's own process, but the broader public sector does the heavy lifting: hospitals and health organisations, school boards, colleges and universities, and municipalities from Toronto down. Each has its own procurement rules and its own posting habits. An IT supplier watching only the provincial site is watching a fraction of the province's actual buying.

Procurement Context makes every one of those sources answerable from the AI assistant your team already uses. You ask which Ontario organisations have bought a given IT service, which suppliers were awarded that work, and what is open in your category right now. The answers come from the source tender notices and award records rather than a digest someone compiled. There is no dashboard to learn and nothing extra for your people to log into.

The judgement this supports is where to spend capture effort. Ontario IT requirements often sit with an established supplier across several cycles, and vendor of record arrangements mean some work never reaches an open tender at all. Knowing which situation you are in before you commit proposal hours is worth far more than finding the notice a day earlier, and it is the question a portal alert has never been able to answer for you.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

What is live right now

Open opportunities across every covered portal, filtered by the criteria your team actually qualifies on.

Questions

Does it cover Ontario broader public sector buyers, not just ministries?
Where they publish publicly, yes. Hospitals, school boards, colleges, universities and municipalities are separate sources and often the more accessible market for a mid-sized IT firm. Because coverage is portal-agnostic, a hospital network or a board's own posting site can be added as its own source. Tell us which buyers you target.
Can I see who is on an Ontario vendor of record arrangement?
The award records show suppliers named on published awards, including arrangements the buyer published. Where a buyer did not publish the roster, it will not appear. The reliable use is checking who has actually been awarded work in your category.
Does it show Toronto and other municipal tenders?
Municipal sources are covered where they publish publicly, and Ontario municipalities are a substantial IT market in their own right. Each city runs its own process, so these come in as distinct sources. Ask us about the specific municipalities you sell to.
How does my team access it?
Through the AI assistant they already use. The only interface is MCP, so it connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or any other MCP client. There is no separate application and no seats to provision.
