New York government contract data, inside your AI

Ask who is buying in New York, who has won before, and what they bid.

New York splits into two problems that suppliers often treat as one. There is the state, with its agencies and its centralised contract arrangements, and there is New York City, which buys at the scale of a mid-sized country and runs its own process. Around both sit the counties, the school districts, the public authorities and the transit bodies. Each publishes on its own terms, and knowing one well tells you little about the others.

Procurement Context puts those records behind the AI assistant your team already uses. You ask which New York buyers have purchased your category and who won it, or what is open right now across state, city and authority sources, and the answer comes from the underlying solicitations and award records rather than a digest. State, city and authority sources sit behind one question, so you are not deciding which of them to check first on a Monday morning.

Most of the value is in what you learn before writing anything. Whether a public authority has used the same supplier through several cycles. Whether a requirement is already served by a centralised contract, which changes your route entirely. Which competitors win in the city but never upstate. That is the intelligence that decides whether to pursue, and it is tedious to assemble one portal at a time.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

What is live right now

Open opportunities across every covered portal, filtered by the criteria your team actually qualifies on.

Questions

Does this include New York City agencies as well as the state?
Yes. City agencies publish separately from state agencies, and both are in scope along with counties, school districts and public authorities. Coverage is portal-agnostic, so any public New York source can be stood up quickly if it is not already there.
Can I find out who currently holds a contract?
Where the award is published, yes. The dataset covers awarded contracts, the buying agency, the winning supplier and the value. For teams weighing a recompete, that incumbency picture is usually the first thing worth checking.
Do we need to buy seats for the whole bid team?
The commercial arrangement is set in conversation, not on a page. What is fixed is that there is no separate application to roll out: the only interface is MCP, so it runs inside the assistant your team already has.
How current are the records?
They come from the public procurement sources themselves, so what you see reflects what those sources have published. Timeliness follows the publishing behaviour of each buyer. Sales can be specific about the sources that matter to you.
