Canada government contract data, inside your AI

Ask who is buying in Canada, who has won before, and what they bid.

Canadian public procurement is federated in a way that catches suppliers out. The federal government tenders through its own system, each province runs its own, and the municipalities, school boards, health authorities and universities buy separately again. Trade agreement thresholds shape what has to be openly tendered and what does not, so the same requirement can appear as an open tender in one province and never surface in another.

Procurement Context makes all three tiers answerable from the AI assistant your team already uses. You ask which Canadian buyers have purchased your category and who won, or what is open now across federal, provincial and municipal sources, and the answer comes from the published tender notices and award records rather than a digest someone compiled last quarter. Federal, provincial and municipal sources answer to one question, so a national pipeline stops depending on which portals someone remembered to check.

The decision that benefits most is whether to bid at all. Whether an incumbent has held the contract through several renewals. Whether a buyer tends to award to national suppliers or stays regional. Which competitors keep winning in the category and in which provinces. Assembling that by hand means working through several unrelated portals, which is why it usually gets skipped and the bid goes ahead on instinct.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

What is live right now

Open opportunities across every covered portal, filtered by the criteria your team actually qualifies on.

Questions

Does it cover provincial and municipal tenders as well as federal?
Yes. Federal, provincial, municipal, health authority, school board and university sources are all in scope. Each publishes independently in Canada, so they are covered as separate sources. Any public source not already there can be stood up quickly.
Can I see who was awarded a contract and for how much?
Where the award is published, yes. Awarded contracts, the buying organisation, the winning supplier and the value are part of the dataset. Disclosure practice differs between jurisdictions, so some publish considerably more than others.
Does it work in French as well as English?
You ask questions in your AI assistant, so the language handling is the assistant's. The records themselves are drawn from the source portals as published, which in Canada includes French language notices.
Do you also cover markets outside Canada?
Yes. Coverage is portal-agnostic and worldwide in principle, so suppliers selling into the United States or further afield are handled the same way. Tell sales where you bid and they will confirm what is already covered.
