Staffing contracts in Ohio

Current opportunities, past awards, and the suppliers already winning them.

Ohio spreads its staffing spend across state agencies, eighty-eight counties, a large number of independent school districts and several public university systems. None of them are obliged to buy the same way as their neighbour. For a recruitment firm that means the same service is sold through a state term schedule in one place, a county solicitation in another, and a university's own supplier list in a third, each with its own qualification round.

Procurement Context connects to the assistant your team already uses, over MCP, and answers from the actual procurement records. Ask which Ohio organisations have awarded contingent labour or temporary staffing agreements, ask who they appointed, ask when the current term was set, ask what is open right now in a category you can actually fill. There is no dashboard in the middle and no separate tool for your consultants to learn, because the assistant is the whole interface.

The practical use is deciding where to put qualification effort. Getting onto a supplier list costs real hours, and doing it for a buyer that renews the same two firms every cycle is a poor trade. Award history shows you which agencies actually rotate, which categories they buy directly rather than through an intermediary, and where a new entrant has managed to break in recently.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

What is live right now

Open opportunities across every covered portal, filtered by the criteria your team actually qualifies on.

Questions

How does Ohio buy temporary staffing services?
It depends entirely on the buyer. State agencies, counties, cities, school districts and universities each run their own procurement, and some buy through cooperative arrangements instead. The published record for each buyer is what tells you which route applies, rather than a general rule that would be wrong somewhere.
Can I see which staffing firms have won Ohio public contracts?
Published awards name the buying organisation and the supplier that won, and they carry value and term when the source records those fields. Reading several awards from one buyer usually tells you more about your odds than the current solicitation does. A buyer that has never changed supplier is worth knowing about before you write anything.
Do I still register in the state supplier system?
Yes. You register and submit wherever the buyer requires it, and nothing here changes that. What changes is the work before submission: knowing which solicitations are worth responding to and who you would be up against.
Can several recruiters on my team use it at once?
Yes. Because the only interface is MCP, it attaches to each person's own assistant, whether that is Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. There is no separate application to deploy and no seats to configure.
