Construction contracts in Florida

Current opportunities, past awards, and the suppliers already winning them.

Florida construction work is spread thin. The state agencies run their own solicitations, but so does every county, every school district, every water management district and every city public works department. A contractor covering the state is watching dozens of separate posting locations, each with its own registration, its own plan holder list and its own idea of how much notice is reasonable before a bid is due.

Procurement Context puts those records behind the AI assistant you already use. You ask which districts have issued site work solicitations in the last month, or who has won paving contracts for a particular county, and the answer comes from the notices and award records themselves. There is no portal to log into and no saved search to keep alive across a season of staff turnover.

The useful questions are the ones about who you would be bidding against. Whether a county has used the same general contractor for three consecutive projects. Whether a job that looks open has an incumbent with a continuing services agreement. Whether the low bidder in this category is someone you can price against or someone you cannot. That is a go or no-go call, and it is faster when the award history answers it.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

What is live right now

Questions

Which Florida agencies and local governments are covered?
Coverage is portal-agnostic rather than a fixed list. State agency postings, county and municipal purchasing, school districts and special districts are all public sources we can stand up quickly. Tell us which counties and districts you sell into and we will confirm what is already in place.
Can I see who won a past construction contract and for how much?
Yes, where the award record is public. Awarded contracts include the buying organisation, the winning supplier and the value. For repeat work this is usually the fastest way to see whether a category is genuinely competitive or effectively held.
Do I need a subscription to each county's bid system as well?
You will still register wherever you intend to submit, since submission happens on the buyer's system. What changes is the finding and the qualifying. You are not logging into a dozen sites to work out whether any of the week's postings are worth your estimator's time.
How does this work if my team uses different AI tools?
The only interface is MCP, so it connects to Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot or any other MCP client. Different people on the same team can use different assistants and still query the same records. There is no separate application and no seats to deploy.
