Who is actually winning contracts in British Columbia

Award history, incumbent suppliers and buyer patterns, from the source records.

British Columbia has a smaller supplier community than Ontario or Quebec, and that changes how award history reads. In a market this size the same names recur, and a category can be effectively held by two or three providers who have worked with a health authority or a ministry for years. Knowing which names those are is the whole game, and it is not on the tender notice.

Procurement Context lets you interrogate the award records from your AI assistant. Ask who has won a category across BC buyers, which health authorities, ministries or municipalities keep returning to the same supplier, and where a position has recently turned over. The answers come from published records, so you can test an assumption about the market rather than carrying it into a bid.

For a smaller supplier that is a fairer fight. Large competitors already know the landscape because they have been in it for a decade. Reading the award history gives you the same picture without the decade, and it tells you which buyers are genuinely worth a response and which have a relationship you are not going to break with a proposal.

Use cases

Who is buying, and what is next

What an agency has bought, from whom, at what value, and on what cycle. Contracts coming up for renewal are the pipeline nobody has published yet.

Who you are up against

The suppliers who keep winning in a category, with their award history and estimated win rate. Know the incumbent before you commit a team to the response.

What the work goes for

Awarded contract records with values and dates. Price against evidence of what this buyer has paid before, not against a guess.

Questions

Which suppliers win contracts with BC health authorities?
Ask that question against the award records for your category and the repeat names appear quickly. Health authority buying often shows strong continuity with a small number of providers, which is exactly the kind of pattern worth knowing before you bid. What the records will not tell you is why, and that judgement stays yours.
Does it cover municipal and Crown corporation awards?
Coverage is portal-agnostic rather than restricted to provincial sources, so municipalities and other public bodies sit alongside them where their records are public. Any public source can be stood up quickly. Tell us which BC buyers matter to you and we will confirm.
Is award value data available for BC contracts?
Where the publishing body includes it, yes. Value disclosure is uneven across sources and we will not pretend otherwise. Looking at several awards in a category usually gives a more reliable sense of the range than one figure does.
How much does it cost?
It is sold rather than self-served, so pricing comes out of a conversation about your coverage needs. There is no free trial and no signup. The quickest way to find out whether it is worth it is to tell us the buyers and categories you sell into.
